Illustrated Event Poster

We wanted to create an EPIC 15th anniversary season poster that paid homage to the edgy counterculture roots of the Rat City Roller Girls. We chose a simple DIY cutout/ screen printed style with one larger than life skater as the central focus. For an extra special touch, we added subtle background texture crafted from the names of all of the players, officials, coaches and support staff who participated in Rat City’s 15 year history.
