Rat City Roller Derby’s 14th season theme was “We Are Derby”. We wanted to create a down to earth poster focused on skaters and skating, so we chose a skate and the main focal point with skaters in the background. To highlight the grassroots aspect of roller derby, we used a colorful sketch style incorporating all of the Rat City league colors.
